About the Event
In this thoughtful and timely work, Libresco Sargeant explores what it means to advocate for women as women in a culture that often misunderstands dependence, care, and vulnerability.
The Dignity of Dependence advocates that recognizing human dependence, on one another, on families, and on communities, is essential to defending the equal dignity and rights of women.
The evening will include a live talk, discussion, and opportunity for audience questions.
Whether you’re already reading the book or simply interested in engaging with its ideas, all are welcome to attend.
