PRO - WOMAN,
     PRO - LIFE.

Feminists Choosing Life of New York (FCLNY) is a state-wide human rights coalition that embraces and promotes whole life feminism and the consistent life ethic. FCLNY's public advocacy draws connections between the root causes of violence, inequality and the social forces that dehumanize.

FCLNY Supports the Consistent Life Ethic

We oppose publicly sanctioned lethal violence including violent military action, abortion, assisted suicide and capital punishment, and educate on the impacts and root causes including poverty, domestic violence, sex trafficking, and racism .

FCLNY advocates for peaceful solutions.

We accomplish our goals by developing, coordinating and engaging in SEVEN initiatives: • Community Encounters • Scholarly Events • Film Involvement  Media Outreach • Grassroots Campaigns • Projects that Empower • Legislative Advocacy

Violent Military Action

There are currently more than 100 active armed conflicts occurring worldwide, according to the  Geneva Academy, including in Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen, Egypt, Nigeria, Somalia, India, Philippines, Mexico, Columbia, Pakistan, China, Afghanistan and the Central African Republic.

Armed conflict most severely impacts women and children. Statistics illustrate 468 million children live in armed conflict zones worldwide. Women and girls are more likely to become targets of sexual violence during armed conflict and constitute the majority of displaced people and refugees worldwide. Violent military action greatly disrupts essential social services for families. More than 7.6 million children under the age of 5 (living in war zones with U.S. involvement) are suffering from “acute malnutrition.”

FCLNY CONDEMNS ALL FORMS OF VIOLENCE AGAINST

HUMAN BEINGS, INCLUDING LETHAL WEAPONRY, RAPE, TORTURE, STARVATION, ABUSE, NEGLECT AND BRUTALITY.

Make The Switch Now!

Large National Retail Pharmacy Chains (CVS, Rite-Aid, and Walgreens) are applying for certification to sell abortion pills to women and girls in NYS and EVERY STATE WHERE ABORTION IS LEGAL. Despite the overturn of Roe vs. Wade, abortions are still legal in thirty-three (33) states, including states with abortion bans currently blocked by courts.

Chemical abortion kills human beings and increases health risks for women. Retail pharmaceutical sale of abortion pills is deadly for unborn children and harmful for women.

As long as privately owned pharmacies continue to resist selling abortion pills we will continue to PROMOTE AND SUPPORT them.

A Post-Roe world needs you!

FCLNY signed the statement, and you can too!

Building a Post-Roe Future

The Pro Life movement has always recognized the importance of supporting women facing unplanned pregnancies.

We are Pro Life conservatives, moderates, and liberals united in our conviction that every human life has value- including the lives of both the unborn child and that child's mother.

We believe that our society should prioritize the needs of both, and that ultimately this can only be achieved by significant changes in public policy including

  • expanded child tax credits

  • paid parental leave

  • flexible work hours

  • affordable child care

  • prenatal child support laws

No pregnant woman has abortion on her bucket list

Overturning Roe is surely a victory. Because any non violent effort made to

protect those who cannot protect themselves is a victory.

But outlawing a federal right to abortion did not outlaw the fear, the devastation, the guilt, the shame, the brokenness, the tornado of grief that swirls around many women

when they find out they're pregnant, unexpectedly.

We must work together more than ever before to help remove the crisis from the pregnancy,

not the pregnancy from the crisis.

We have to combat the abortion industrial complex differently now. We can fight the root causes of abortion, we can educate, we can empower, and provide hope.

But most of all we can bring an end to abortion through unity and love.

From my experience the number one reason women choose life for their unborn children is: SUPPORT.

VICTIMS CHALLENGE NEW YORK'S REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH ACT IN HISTORIC LAWSUIT

Relevant portions of the NY RHA legal challenge are currently on appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.  The rights of viable unborn children, presented by the NY RHA lawsuit, are hopefully one step closer to adjudication by the U.S. Supreme Court. We hope the lawsuit will land squarely in the hands of the same U.S. Supreme Court Justices that overturned Roe vs. Wade (1973)  in Dobbs vs. Jackson (2022).  Stay Tuned!
